Three students receive RBC scholarshipsNine students across Canada have been awarded RBC Royal Bank Scholarship Awards and three of them are from McMaster. The recipients of the $5,000-gold, $3,000-silver and $2,000-bronze awards were announced last month. McMaster students received awards in each category.

The kindest cut for cancerSarah Cook gave the gift that keeps on growing. The development officer cut nine inches of her hair last month and donated it to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign, which uses the hair to make wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

Department raises $1,700 for Hamilton Food ShareThe Department of Biochemistry & Biomedical Sciences raised more than $1,700 for Hamilton Food Share. Every dollar raised for the organization translates into $10 worth of food through its Food Recovery Program, which collects donations of surplus food from the food industry and provides it to those in need.
