Forward with Integrity task forces

As the discussion and implementation of the principles and priorities outlined in the President's letter Forward with Integrity proceed around the campus, a number of interdisciplinary task forces comprised of faculty, staff and students have begun meeting to consider ways to advance the University's priorities related to research, student experience, community engagement and internationalization.

Better than a needle in the eye: new medical device offers hope and relief for patients

Researchers at McMaster have developed a new system for delivering drugs to the back of the eye - one that could offer more effective treatment while sparing patients with vision-related diseases the excruciating routine of having drugs injected into their eyes by syringe every six to eight weeks.

Power restored to campus

9:30 pm - Power has been restored to campus following an outage that affected some buildings earlier this evening. Crews were able to isolate the problem and buildings impacted now have power. 8:15 pm - A significant power outage is affecting campus this evening. Several student residences have been affected including: Wallingford, Moulton, Matthews and Bates. Power is being restored in some buildings and all fire alarm and emergency power systems are operating.
