Progress continues as the University community works to implement the principles and
priorities outlined in the President's letter: Forward with Integrity.

In December, President Deane announced that Susan Denburg, associate vice-president
in health sciences would be the strategic advisor guiding the cross-campus effort to
implement the priorities. In addition, Laura Harrington, a member of TMG, was selected
as Project Director to provide communication and administrative support to the
initiative.

Now, an advisory group has been formed to provide guidance as the priorities are
examined and operationalized. “The advisory group will play an important role in
helping McMaster identify strategies to move the priorities forward,” Denburg said.
“Members represent a wide range of the experience and knowledge that exists across
our campus and we are grateful for their willingness to actively engage in this initiative.”

The advisory group will work alongside and in cooperation with a number of task forces
being formed around each of the priorities: student experience, community
engagement, research and internationalization. It is expected that the task forces will
complete their work by the end of this academic term.

The advisory group's membership can be found here.
