Writer-in-residence, Janet Marie Rogers, wants to meet with aspiring authors (virtually)

Janet Marie Rogers, this year’s Mabel Pugh Taylor writer-in-residence, is now available to virtually meet with aspiring authors for free, one-on-one consultations about their work.

A partnership between McMaster and the Hamilton Public Library, the writer-in-residence program is operating online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rogers’ work includes the books Splitting the HeartRed EroticUnearthed and Peace In Duress.

This summer, as part of the writer-in-residence program, Rogers created a podcast series with a variety of community storytellers about the pandemic. She will be doing a virtual Q and A and reading on October 7 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Email englwir@mcmaster.ca to contact Rogers or for more information. Her virtual office hours are Monday to Thursday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
