Flag flying to commemorate National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada.

In recognition, the Haudenosaunee Hiawatha Belt (Six Nations) Flag will be raised over University Hall.

June is Indigenous History Month and an opportunity to engage in education and reflection, and to learn more about the impact of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Find educational resources from within the McMaster community here.
