McMaster Global and Academics Without Borders host event Nov. 11

Interested in working on projects overseas that leave a lasting legacy of increased capacity and long-term sustainable impact?

In February of 2019 McMaster University became the host institution for Academics Without Borders (AWB), a Canada-based non-profit that helps universities in the developing world enhance the quality of their programs and research.

On Monday November 11, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. you are invited to join Dr. Andrea Baumann, Associate Vice President of Global Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, in welcoming Dr. Greg Moran, Executive Director of Academics Without Borders, and Dr. Karl Stobbe, Clinical Professor, McMaster Family Medicine, for an overview of AWB, and more specifically potential McMaster-AWB partnership projects and capacity-building opportunities for faculty and staff.

Learn how you can volunteer with Academics Without Borders on projects that are designed to leave a lasting legacy of increased capacity and long-term sustainable impact, building a ‘Brighter World’.

*Complimentary beverages and food provided*

Event is free. Registration is required.
