Local high school students rally against bullying

Two thousand local high school students came together today at McMaster to rally against one of the worst forms of bullying: racism. Hoops Against Hate: Faces of Racism brought in former Hamilton Tiger-Cat Orlando Bowen and retired McMaster professor Gary Warner to speak to students about the dangers of racism.

Conference tackles auto, aerospace manufacturing challenges

Promoting greater and faster adoption of new technologies by Canada's manufacturing sector is the motivation behind Manufacturing Optimization: The Next Generation conference being held November 4 in Toronto. More than 300 automotive and aerospace engineering leaders are expected to participate in the one-day conference at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

More than 2,500 prospective students and families are expected to visit McMaster during Fall Preview this Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about McMaster's programs, ask questions about admissions and tour the campus facilities.

Students from Brandon Hall have each received an email outlining their housing options. It is vitally important that they go to the link in the email where they may select and confirm their choice. The University cannot make a housing match for students unless this onlline form is completed.
