DeGroote students trade up

Just two months into their first year at the DeGroote School of Business, two undergraduate business students have established themselves as masters of "sealing the deal." Nikolai Mak and Victor Kuntzevitsky took a $5 gift card from Titles bookstore and, through a series of strategic trades, turned it into a $300 gift card from Boston Pizza.

Chancellors’ portraits unveiled

McMaster unveiled portraits of its Chancellors, both past and present, in a lunch-hour ceremony held in the Council Chambers. McMaster commissioned the portraits to recognize the Chancellors' significant contributions to the University.

Pediatrics chair returns to Australia

Dr. Peter Steer, chair of the Department of Pediatrics, will be leaving Hamilton early in the new year to return his native Australia to become the CEO of a major new 300-bed children's hospital to be built in Brisbane, Queensland.
