The Okanagan Mental Health and Well-being Task Force is looking for feedback as they develop strategies to help the McMaster community address stress and anxiety caused by the pandemic and remote learning.

The task force has set up an anonymous online feedback form that will collect comments from students, staff and faculty about the most pressing issues facing the campus community and suggestions for addressing them.

The group, which is made up of students, faculty and staff from across the university, was launched this January based on the recommendations made by the Virtual Learning Task Force.

They will be making recommendations to improve the mental health and well-being of individuals and groups on campus, as well as providing guidance for creating a more psychologically healthy and inclusive learning and working environment.

The Okanagan Charter, which McMaster signed in 2017, is an international commitment by colleges and universities to promote health and well-being on campuses.
