The future of urban renewal in Hamilton: Feb. 25


The Hamilton Sustainability Professionals Network (SPN) and McMaster University, with sponsorship from the City of Hamilton’s Economic Development Department, will be offering our third Community-based Leadership in Sustainability (CLS) educational and networking workshop.

Learn more about how far we have come and what lies ahead on the road to renewal; how Hamilton can become a North American leader in Urban Regeneration; and about some of the innovative programs available that are used to encourage redevelopment in our city.

In this session, you’ll hear from three of Hamilton’s local leaders on the topics of Green Buildings, Resource Conservation, and Urban Regeneration: Richard W. Allen, Director of The Renew Hamilton Project ; David Premi, Principal at david premi Architects inc; and Judy Lam, Senior Business Development Consultant for the City of Hamilton. Moderated by Graham McNally, co-founder of Toms + McNally Design.
