Upcoming weekend maintenance on McMaster’s network: March 11, 2023

In an ongoing effort to increase McMaster’s network reliability and performance, University Technology Services (UTS) has scheduled a network maintenance window on Saturday, March 11, between 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

From 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the network will be disrupted in the following buildings:

David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building.
Ivor Wynne Centre (IWC) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building.

From 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.:

Cisco AnyConnect VPN will be unavailable at times. You may be disconnected from the VPN or unable to reconnect.
Azure Cloud Infrastructure will be unavailable for up to 30 minutes (impacts Azure Virtual Desktops).
