Upcoming network disruption on Saturday March 4th

McMaster UTS was notified on March 3, 2023, that one of the university’s internet service providers will be conducting maintenance activities between the hours of 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM, on Saturday March 4th, 2023. This work will result in disruptions to McMaster’s network.

The following locations will experience a short network outage estimated to last approximately 5-10 minutes. This outage will occur sometime between the period of 12 AM – 6 AM on Saturday March 4th.

ORION services including Internet
Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington (RJC)

MGD Medical School Kitchener/Waterloo
McMaster Innovation Park (MIP)
One James North (OJN)
David Braley Health Science Center (DBHSC)
180 Bloor St. in Toronto

The following locations will experience a network outage lasting up to two hours sometime between 12 AM and 6 AM on Saturday March 4, 2023:

Regional Medical Associates at 1685 Main St.
711 Concession St. Juravinski
50 Charlton St. Joes
Ward Ave. Parking lot
