University-Government-Industry networking event

You are invited to a University-Government-Industry networking event hosted by McMaster University, in collaboration with the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI). The event will be held at the McMaster Innovation Park (MIP), Main Floor Conference Room from 3 – 5 pm on Thursday, June 27th .

The theme for the event is Neurotechnology — how neuroscience knowledge can be a driver for technology and economic development.  An exciting panel of university, industry and government speakers will present short discussions of research and innovation. This will be followed by an opportunity to network at a wine & cheese reception in MIP’s Atrium.

McMaster researchers will showcase their cutting edge research on a variety of topics such as mind-machine interactions, better hearing technology, assessment of brain injury, new brain imaging techniques, the interactions of music and the mind, and the assessment of brain training games.

Our private sector speakers include Allergan, InteraXon, CISCO, IBM, ON Semiconductor, Sound Options Tinnitus Treatments Inc. and Vitasound.

This will be a great opportunity to meet and network with university researchers, government and the private sector.

We hope to see you there.

Please RSVP to avpres@mcmaster.ca if you plan to attend.
