Ticats to play Aug. 16 game at McMaster
After successfully hosting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ first two home games, McMaster will host the CFL team’s Aug. 16 game at Ron Joyce Stadium. The team has been notified that its new stadium will not be completed for the August game.
Once again, the Ticats will be renting the stadium “as-is” for the game. McMaster hosted Ti-Cats games on July 26 and 31st.
The University previously notified the team that McMaster cannot host the Labour Day game scheduled for September 1. That game would conflict with the University’s move-in weekend and with a scheduled Marauders football game.
