‘This is Hamilton’ campus screening

A documentary created by two McMaster graduate students, This is Hamilton … After the Steel Rush, will be screened on campus Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place in MDCL (Room 3020), and admission is free/pay what you can.

The film chronicles the highs and lows of Hamilton’s various communities in the midst of a shrinking steel industry and a flourishing local arts scene, and was a final project of two Globalization Studies graduate students, Layla Mashkoor and Nicole Rallis. The duo were joined by Mark Hoyne on the project, a postgraduate student in Advanced Filmmaking at Fanshawe College.

DVD copies of the documentary can be purchased at Dr. Disc in downtown Hamilton.
