The Science of Archival Preservation, Dec. 4

On December 4, join McMaster University Library  for a special talk by McMaster’s Archives and Rare Books Conservator, Audrie Schell, as she discusses the science behind the care and preservation of one-of-a-kind original materials in the Library’s special collections.

Audrie will share recent preservation projects including the restoration of 350-year old documents from the newly acquired Dr. William G. Bensen Fur Trade Collection of Robert D.W. Band. Speak with Audrie, view these original materials up close, and learn about the science behind some of the extensive conservation work happening in McMaster’s University Library.
