Ten simple rules for building an antiracist lab

All faculty, staff and students are invited to join a conversation about moving beyond making statements of solidarity to taking actions that build antiracist research labs.

Asmeret Asefaw Berhe from the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Merced and Bala Chaudhary from the Department of Environmental Science and Studies at DePaul University will discuss their paper Ten Simple Rules for Building an Antiracist Lab. The authors will be interviewed by Faculty of Science Dean Maureen MacDonald, Interim Associate Dean of Research & External Relations Juliet Daniel and student leaders Rhea Desai and Nicole Wong.

The free online event is presented by the McMaster Science Society, the McMaster Science Graduate Student Association and McMaster’s Faculty of Science.
