Tax slips now available online
If you were paid by McMaster Human Resources Services in 2014, your tax slips are available online.
The T4 and T4A slips available via the secure Mosaic Human Resources Self Service component will only reflect payments seen on 2014 Pay Statements. Slips covering payments from other income streams, like Student Accounts or Accounts Payable, will only be available as paper copies for 2014.
If you were not one of the 1,879 employees who jumped at the chance to consent for online slip delivery by the Feb 19 deadline, paper slip(s) are being printed for you, and will be mailed to the home address on record in Mosaic Human Resources at that time. You can check the address on file in Mosaic by following the path:
Main Menu > Human Resources > Self Service > Personal Information > Personal Information Summary
According to the Canada Revenue Agency guidelines, printed slips for 2014 should be postmarked by March 2, 2015.
It’s never too late to consent.
Only those employees who Consent to electronic slip delivery will be able to access the online slips. If you give your consent now, you will still be able to access any 2014 slips issued by Human Resources Services, online, and without delay.
Individuals who consent after the printing deadline may still receive a printed slip in the mail for that calendar year.

Access to online tax slips is limited to current employees only.
If you are not a current employee, no electronic access is possible. In these cases, a tax slip will be mailed to the address we have on file in HR.
Accessing electronic tax slips is easy!
Employees who have submitted their consent for electronic slips can navigate to the following page from within Mosaic:
Main Menu > Human Resources > Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > View T4/T4A Slips
Instructions on How to Access Employee Tax Slips in can be found on the Documentation Tab within the Mosaic portal.
To access your tax slips from home, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection will be required, which provides an enhanced level of security to your connection to the Mosaic website. Visit the UTS website for information on downloading and using the VPN network access tool.
From within the McMaster network, no VPN connection is required.
