Survey: McMaster Plans for the Future of University Housing

A new survey is seeking feedback from McMaster students, faculty, and staff on their needs and preferences for future housing options offered by the University.

In April 2022, McMaster Housing & Conference Services began work with The Scion Group LLC, a national consulting services firm specializing in university housing, to better understand the McMaster community’s on-campus housing preferences.

Earlier this month, focus groups with student leaders, staff, and faculty were conducted to understand preferences for McMaster-affiliated housing. Common themes and topics from those conversations directly informed the development of this survey.

“The survey results will inform the long-term Campus Master Plan as it relates to McMaster’s housing services for undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff,” said Kevin Beatty, director, Housing & Conference Services. “Our community’s voice will be an important contribution to the design and factors of new and future housing opportunities”.

Students, staff, and faculty can complete the survey at https://housing.mcmaster.ca/housing-survey/ until Friday, October 7, 2022.

As a thank you, participants will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of two $125 Campus Store gift cards or one of 15 $20 Starbucks gift cards.
