Students to go door-to-door for Trick or Eat

McMaster students will participate in the annual Trick or Eat event on the evening of Wednesday, October 31.

From 5 – 9 p.m. students will go door-to-door asking for canned food donations in the Westdale community.

This event is run through McMaster Meal Exchange and Mac Bread Bin.

Last year they raised 3,759 lbs of food, had 237 participants, and $1,951 in online donations and this year they are hoping to maintain or surpass these amounts.

Meal Exchange works to engage, educate, and mobilize youth to work with their communities to alleviate hunger locally. Mac Bread Bin provides food assistance to students as well as engaging with other issues related to hunger.
