This article was last updated Feb. 2. It was originally posted Jan 21.

Stearn Drive in front of the David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC) on McMaster’s campus will be closed for planned construction starting Monday, Jan. 24, and will reopen by the end of day on Monday, Feb. 2.

The date for Stearn Drive to reopen was originally Friday, January 28th.

During the closure, access to the north side of campus will be rerouted through Forsyth Avenue and Parking Lot H. Wayfinding signage will be posted. Large trucks (construction, delivery) will not be permitted on the detour route.

Parking permit holders impacted by this closure are being communicated with directly about how to access parking lots H, Stadium Underground and Lot G.

During the closure, work will be completed that connects the new McLean Centre for Collaborative Discovery, currently under construction, to the storm water and sanitary sewer system.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your continued patience during construction.
