Search begins for next Dean of Humanities

The search for a new Dean of Humanities is now underway.  Senate has appointed an ad hoc committee to assist in the search for a new Dean.  To view the member list of the Selection Committee, please visit the Provost’s website.

Boyden is the search firm consultants assisting  with the Dean of Humanities search. They will be contacting the community over the coming weeks to gain a better understanding of McMaster’s interests and needs to fill this position.  You are encouraged to communicate your views on the Dean of Humanities role and to provide nominations to Boyden directly (Nick Chambers, nchambers@boyden.com or Jessa Chupik,jchupik@boyden.com) or by contacting any one of the committee members.  For input to be incorporated into the early deliberations of the committee it should be sent before Friday, December 7, 2018.  Communications to the Selection Committee will be shared within the Committee but otherwise will be considered as confidential.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in this important selection process.  Please note that self-nominations will also be accepted.
