Keynote address by Alex Usher, President of Higher Education Strategy Associates. You may be familiar with Alex’s popular blog “One Thought to Start Your Day,” full of current insights and informed opinions on higher education, or his Twitter feed. Alex promises a dynamic presentation covering a wide array of topics such as the changing revenue landscape for universities, the quality/value proposition for students, and the need for diversification of revenue sources.

Assistant Vice President and CFO, Deidre (Dee) Henne will present on McMaster’s financial outlook. Take a ride with the CFO to discover the potentially bumpy road ahead. Learn how to help pave a smoother and institutionally aligned path.  Dee’s presentation will address the provincial environment and Strategic Mandate Agreements whereby an increasing proportion of university funding will be at risk.
