Public lecture: Policy Insights from a Tax-Systems Perspective


The Department of Economics presents a lecture from Hooker Distinguished Visiting Professor Joel B. Slemrod on January 23.

Professor Slemrod’s lecture is titled Policy Insights from a Tax-Systems Perspective. The lecture begins at 3:30 p.m. in Room 505 of the DeGroote School of Business and is open to the public.

Professor Slemrod is the Paul W. McCracken Collegiate Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also serves as Director of the Office of Tax Policy Research and has been awarded the Daniel M. Holland Medal, which is presented by the National Tax Association in recognition of a lifetime of contributions to the study and practice of public finance.
