Nominations open for President’s Awards for Outstanding Service in 2015

The President’s Awards for Outstanding Service recognize the exceptional contributions of full-time and part-time employees from operations, research and ancillary departments or units of McMaster University (non-teaching employees) and represents the highest honour that the University can bestow upon these employees.

In addition to these longstanding awards, it is my pleasure to inform you of a new President’s Award being launched this year – the Lifetime Achievement Award. The purpose of this award is to provide an annual recognition for an individual staff member who exemplifies outstanding performance and accomplishment and is considered a role model for others. Further details and all related criteria are outlined on the President’s Awards website.

Nominations are now invited from the McMaster community to identify employees who have made an outstanding contribution that is ‘above and beyond’ during the 2015 calendar year.

This program provides the opportunity to reward and recognize the efforts of our colleagues and their commitment to the University’s mission. Please encourage your staff and colleagues to consider nominating individuals and teams for these awards.

Individual and team nomination packages may be requested online until January 21, 2016. Completed nomination packages and supporting documents must be received by February 12, 2016.
