Plan to attend the McMaster Financial Forum

The 2014 McMaster Financial Forum will help you understand the University initiatives that impact financial leaders and administrators. From the new budget model to Mosaic, participants will learn about the issues facing McMaster, review strategies for meeting these challenges, and assess the impact on their departments.

This all-day event will be held on April 22 in CIBC Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and has limited capacity. Pre-registration is required.

Early Bird Bonus
Individuals who register by our early bird date of March 31 will have the opportunity to vote for the breakout session topics they would like to see added to the agenda.

Forum Goals

1. Explain how McMaster’s Strategic Mandate Agreement (SMA) with the province affects their department and work

2. Build a broad understanding of financial issues facing McMaster (including Mosaic and the new budget model), the University’s strategies for meeting these challenges, and how these affect participants’ department operations

3. Increase participants’ confidence and capability for effectively handling uncertainties and pressures associated with financial initiatives

4. Improve readiness for future Mosaic system launches

5. Provide an opportunity participants to network with colleagues across the organization

6. Celebrate and support colleagues through the transitions associated with Mosaic
