Throughout the summer, the provincial independent electrical system operator will identify days as potential “peak” days due to heat and the increased strain on the province’s electrical system.
During specific times on these days, ventilation in offices, classrooms and all other non-lab areas will be shut down.
July 7 between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. has been identified as a peak day.
