Origins Institute Public Lecture – A Planet Not Our Own with Elizabeth Tasker
The Origins Institute in partnership with the McMaster Alumni Association is pleased to bring to Hamilton Elizabeth Tasker, an astrophysicist with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and author of the popular science book, The Planet Factory.
In her talk, Elizabeth will discuss the formation of planets and stars, how we find them, and if any of the planets discovered can be like Earth
After the talk please join us for light refreshments and a book signing. Copies of the book, The Planet Factory will be available for purchase for $20 through the Campus Bookstore.
