WORKSHOP FOR RESEARCHERS

THE NSERC STRATEGIC PROJECT GRANTS

Wendy Ryan, Senior Manager in the Research Partnerships portfolio at NSERC, will provide a presentation to outline some of the key details for the NSERC Strategic Project competition and offer guidance on how to prepare successful applications.  Steve Hranilovic, Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a member of the Strategic Project Selection Panel for Information and Communication Technologies will also share his insights for preparing an effective application.

Strategic Partnership Grants for Projects fund early-stage project research in these specific topics within these targeted areas: Advanced Manufacturing, Environment and Agriculture; Information and Communication Technologies, and Natural Resources and Energy.  The deadline for application is April 1st. Full details of the topics to be addressed within each target area are available on the NSERC website or contact the McMaster Industry Liaison Office for more details on the program.
