National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is an annual survey completed by first-year and senior students in colleges and universities all across Canada and the U.S.. Along with every university within Ontario, McMaster is a yearly participant. This survey collects important information on the undergraduate university experience, and its results are often used to make comparisons between universities. Most importantly, the results of this survey highlight any changes that must be made to outdated university policy, changes that will enrich the undergraduate experience.
