Mosaic unavailable Nov 6-9 during upgrade

All Mosaic functions will be unavailable beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 6 until 8 a.m. on Monday, November 9.

The closure will allow for an upgrade of the software Mosaic uses. Most modifications will be invisible to end users, but there will be a few noticeable changes:

The Mosaic log-in page will get a new look (see screen shot below) and will now include an option to enable accessibility features
“Chartfield Mappings (Legacy)” will move from the Mosaic home page to the “My Work” tab
The software upgrade will allow Mosaic to work better with iOS 9 (iPhone and iPad)
The “My Favourite Links” box on the Mosaic landing page will be removed, user favourites will remain available in the upper left-hand menu (see screen shot below)

The software upgrade will support the launch of Facilities Services’ new maintenance management system in Mosaic. This system is currently set to begin a phase-in period for a small group of users at the end of November with a broader launch in the following weeks.

Students are reminded that both Avenue to Learn and Gmail for Students can be accessed directly.
