Mills Library toy drive

McMaster’s Libraries are pleased to once again host the Annual Toy and Food Drive in support of the Hamilton Salvation Army Christmas Bureau. The Bureau is committed to ensuring a happy Christmas for children and families who are in need of assistance at this time of year. The McMaster community has very generously supported the Drive over the years.

The Toy and Food Drive began in Mills Library in 1975, and has since expanded. This year’s Drive runs from November 21 to December 16, with donation drop-off boxes located in all campus Libraries, the Downtown Centre and the McMaster Students Union office in the Student Centre.

New, unwrapped toys for children up to the age of 16, non-perishable food items and toys for family pets are all needed. Gift cards are an excellent choice for teenagers, and can be dropped off at the Service Desks of any of the above locations.
