McMaster University presidential search: We want to hear from you

McMaster students, faculty members, staff, alumni and community members are invited to share their thoughts to inform the search process and establish the ideal profile for the university’s next president.

A community consultation period will run from Monday, Feb. 26 to Monday, March 18, inviting feedback from all members of the McMaster community.

Participants can provide their input through a brief anonymous survey or by emailing pres.selection@mcmaster.ca.

The input gathered during this period will assist the Committee for Recommending a President in developing a position profile for president. This profile will be shared with potential candidates and prospective sources of nominations and made available to the McMaster community.

Last month, McMaster University president David Farrar announced that he will conclude his tenure as president in June 2025.

The university encourages active participation from its diverse community to ensure that the selection process reflects the values and aspirations of McMaster University.
