McMaster saddened by Toronto attack that killed an incoming student – President Patrick Deane

McMaster University extends its sincerest condolences to the families of the victims of Sunday night’s shooting in Toronto. We are particularly saddened to learn that a young woman who was going to begin her studies at McMaster this fall was one of those who died in the attack.

We extend our deepest sympathy to all those who have been touched by the senseless violence and want to encourage our students and all other members of the McMaster community who need support to reach out to the university services that are available to help.
