McMaster ranked among best universities for clinical and health studies


McMaster has once again been recognized as one of the world’s top universities for the study of clinical health.

Highlighting universities that are making significant advances in medicine and other health subjects, McMaster ranks 36th in the world and 4th in Canada in this year’s Times Higher Education World University subject rankings.

This ranking is driven by a nation leading performance in research quality, which looks at the university’s role in spreading new knowledge and ideas by measuring research strength, quality and excellence. McMaster also tied for 2nd in Canada in the industry impact metric, which measures a university’s ability to help industry partners through innovations, inventions and consultancy.

McMaster saw improvement across the board in all subject areas, with Life Sciences ranking within the top 125 universities and Psychology placing among the top 150 universities globally.
