McMaster Okanagan special project funding now available


The McMaster Okanagan committee is looking for creative and impactful ideas to improve the health and well-being of the McMaster community.

Students, staff and faculty can apply for funding up to $5,000 for initiatives that incorporate one or more of the following topics:

  • Accessibility
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Diversity/Equity/Inclusion
  • Environment & Sustainability
  • Financial Aid & Support
  • Health & Safety
  • Medical / Physical Health
  • Mental Health
  • Nutrition & Food Security
  • Physical Activity
  • Physical Spaces
  • Spirituality, Society & Culture
  • Well-being Websites & Apps

There will be two information sessions for those who are interested:

  1. Wednesday January 22
    10 – 11:20 am

  2. Thursday February 13
    1:30 – 3 pm

The Okanagan Charter is an international charter for health-promoting universities and colleges. Its purpose is to provide a framework for promoting the importance of health and well-being at higher education institutions.
