Recent news stories have reported on a privacy breach with Desjardins. The breach was on the retail/banking side (Caisse Desjardins).
McMaster has contacted Desjardins Insurance and confirmed that the privacy breach did not affect the group retirement savings division of Desjardins Insurance, which means that McMaster employee data was not compromised.
Desjardins Insurance manages RRSP plans for certain McMaster employee groups.
