McMaster hosts annual trails conference

McMaster hosted this week’s Trailhead Ontario Conference, organized by the Ontario Trails Council.

The Community Trails Day began the 3 days of events and aimed to help participants engage with surrounding natural areas. Outdoor activities, presentations, workshops and informational booths were set up to create awareness among participants about the importance of the natural areas. The day was concluded by a community hike.

The university also hosted the annual Trailhead Ontario Conference, in Celebration Hall. The two-day conference brought together professionals from public and private sectors to discuss developments in the trails community.
