McMaster 2019/2020 Financial Report now available

A detailed look at the university’s finances can been found in the 2019/20 Annual Financial Report.

The report highlights McMaster’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic including, the investments made to support the online learning of McMaster students, the health and safety of students, faculty and staff, and the impact McMaster researchers from across the university are having as they lead Canada and the world in COVID and pandemic related discovery and the creation of McMaster’s Global Nexus for Pandemics and Biological Threats.

Despite the unpredictable events of the past year, McMaster has maintained strong and stable credit ratings of AA from both Standard and Poors and DBRS – both well respected global credit rating agencies.

This is the first year the report has included new climate related financial disclosures for the long-term investment pool.  McMaster is committed to adopting recommendations aligned with the university’s early adoption of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
