According to the Hamilton Spectator, Alectra Utilities reported a widespread power failure in the City of Hamilton this morning affecting 48,136 customers.
Power began to be restored around 9 a.m. An update on the power company’s site is reporting 14,484 now affected.
The estimated time for repairs to be completed is 1 pm.
