#MacMoves adds some play to your day
Add more play to your day this week as part of #MacMoves — a McMaster-wide initiative created to promote an active and healthy campus.
This year’s #MacMoves activities and initiatives are focused on having fun and staying active include daily “recess” for lighthearted play, a slow roll on any wheels you have, a bus pull, a trail walk, a Zoom session on the link between exercise and brain health, and a workshop on respectful workplace relationships.
There’s also a range of on-demand online activities including a free yoga workshop and a virtual hike.
#MacMoves is a partnership between the McMaster Okanagan Committee, a group that works at promoting health and well-being; the department of Athletics & Recreation and the university’s healthy workplace committee. This is the second year of what organizers plan to keep going as an annual event.
