It’s not too late to support United Way

Have you seen the United Way Campaign thermometers posted throughout the campus?

McMaster’s United Way campaign is currently 85% of the way to reaching our campaign goal of $300,000 in support of the United Way of Burlington and Hamilton.

We’re very close and this success to date is an example of the amazing generosity of our McMaster community and what can be accomplished when we all work together for a common goal. A goal like building a strong, healthy community and a place where our kids are given the opportunity to be all they can.

However we are not there just yet! The campaign is still $45,000 away from reaching our goal and it’s not too late for you to help.

McMaster’s annual campaign provides core funding and program support to local agencies in Hamilton and Burlington that offer vital services to the community. Even a small donation can go a long way to help achieve our goal.

If you are considering making a donation or are already a partner, this year Arcelor Mittal Dofasco (AMD) is holding the ‘DO GOOD*ER*’challenge. For every new or increased leadership level gift ($1,000 or above), AMD will match the increase from the previous donation level – dollar for dollar – up to a total of $500,000 towards the United Way of Burlington and Hamilton.
