Integrated Science, Arts & Science offer new summer camp for youths

McMaster’s Integrated Science and Arts & Science programs will offer a unique, new camp experience this summer.

Fusion: An Integrated Art and Science Experience will be offered to students in Grades 7 and 8 throughout July 2013.

The innovative camp will consist of two sessions: the first, which will run from July 8-12, will focus on green power and sustainability. Students will hike to Cootes Paradise, learn about alternative energy sources, and visit McMaster’s community and teaching garden.

The second session from, July 15-19, will give campers the opportunity to learn about exploration by touring the solar system at the W.J. McCallion Planetarium, viewing the planet Mars in 3D at a campus theatre and learning about ancient Egypt and fossils.

Registration is now open for both camp sessions.
