The interview focused on the tensions between democracy and capitalism, and touched on a number of Giroux’s books, including his forthcoming The Violence of Organized Forgetting, as well as past works Twilight of the Social: Resurgent Politics in the Age of Disposability and Zombie Politics and Culture in the Age of Casino Capitalism.
