Geography and Earth Sciences Research Day


Two of the main elements of undergraduate education at McMaster are independent study and the seamless integration of research and instruction.

Visit the Burke Science Building on Thursday, April 11 for Geography and Earth Sciences Research Day, as students present final-year projects and graduate student thesis posters. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. in rooms 117, 106, 120, 121, 122 and 137.

Sustainability, Climate Change, Accessibility and Healthy Places are a few of the themes that will be presented. Other highlights include:

  • Health
  • Physical Environment
  • Geochemistry
  • Land Restoration
  • Urban Geography
  • Spatial Analysis

This public event features 65 fourth-year student presentations and 33 graduate student thesis posters. All attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the best posters.
