Free flu vaccination clinics for employees

The flu season is fast approaching, and McMaster is pleased to offer all current employees free vaccinations at campus flu clinics during the week of Nov. 18-22.

The Public Health Agency of Canada recommends that all Canadian adults receive the flu shot, as it provides the “best protection” against the flu.

Flu shots received in previous years will not protect you against the flu this  year. There are many strains of influenza, and these strains change yearly. Each year, a new vaccine is produced that offers protection against the three most common strains predicted for the coming season.

Please bring your employee identification and wear a short-sleeve shirt. Attendees will be asked to remain in the area for 15 minutes after receiving the vaccination.
