Football coach Ptaszek joins Tiger-Cats as offensive co-ordinator

Stefan Ptaszek has been named the Hamilton Tiger-Cats new offensive coordinator.

Ptaszek, 45, has spent the last 10 seasons as Head Coach at McMaster University, posting an overall record of 73 wins and 29 losses, including playoffs. During that span, he was named the OUA Coach of the Year twice (2012, 2014) and also recognized as the CIS Coach of the Year in 2012. 

“I’d like to thank Stef for all of this great work and dedication to McMaster and the Marauders football program,” says Glen Grunwald, McMaster’s director of Athletics and Recreation. “I wish him much success in his new role in the CFL.”

A search for a new head coach will soon be underway.
