Finding the Words: The Art of Writing, Nov. 22


On November 22, Join McMaster University Library for a lively panel discussion in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer in Residence program, featuring Terry Fallis, Gary Barwin, Kim Echlin, and Trevor Cole.

Each year, the Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer in Residence program invites an established Canadian author to work at the Hamilton Public Library and on the McMaster campus to mentor creative writers from both the university and the Hamilton community.

During this special event – moderated by celebrated author Terry Fallis – Barwin, Echlin and Cole, all past writers in residence, will explore the creative process of writing, teaching and mentoring, provide commentary on their own successes, and talk about what writing means to them.
