Filming on campus
McMaster will welcome a film production to campus over the next few weeks.
Who/What
GO JUMP IN THE POOL is a made for TV movie that will air on Canada’s YTV. This is an adaptation of Canadian author Gordon Korman’s acclaimed novel of the same name – part of the MacDonald Hall/Bruno & Boots book series – that began with THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL.
This young adult book series is described a quintessential Canadian literary work that Today’s Parent magazine includes in their “50 Best Canadian Books for Kids Of All Time”.
Producers are proud to set this film on the picturesque grounds of McMaster, an iconic Canadian university, for what they deem as an iconic Canadian story. Predicting success for this film on YTV channel, GO JUMP plans to produce at least two more films in this series over the summer of 2016, and will be looking to return to McMaster.
The movie stars Caroline Rhea and Peter Keleghan as well as a host of supporting actors and background talent.
