Employee flu clinics begin this week

To help you protect yourself from the seasonal flu, McMaster University is pleased to offer all current employees free vaccinations at our campus vaccination clinics during the week of November 18.

If you received an annual flu shot last winter, you need to get one again this year. A flu shot is needed every year. There are many strains of influenza and they change yearly. Each year a new vaccine is produced that provides protection against the three most common strains predicted for the coming season.

Please bring your employee identification and wear a short sleeve shirt. For more information about employee flu clinics visit www.workingatmcmaster.ca/healthy-workplace or call ext. 24556.

Students will not be able to receive their flu shots at employee flu clinics.

Monday, November 18 | Student Centre, CIBC Hall (MUSC 319) | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Tuesday, November 19 | Student Centre, CIBC Hall (MUSC 310) | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Wednesday, November 20 | Downtown Centre (DTC), Room 236 | 12 noon – 2 p.m.

Thursday, November 21 | Health Sciences Centre, Blue Room | 12 noon – 3 p.m.

Friday, November 22 | Ron Joyce Centre, Room 358 | 12 noon – 2 p.m.
